About the Role

The Housekeeping Heavy Porter is responsible for cleaning and servicing all hotel areas and ensuring the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment.

Position Responsibilities

• Clean and service all hotel areas, including the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment, carpet shampooing, moving furniture, and other tasks to ensure a pleasing guest experience at Ocean Casino Resort.
• Deliver supplies as needed, such as guest room amenities, bathroom tissue, soap, and other supplies throughout the property.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues with equipment or the property, as well as guest needs, to the supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Work in an environment with casino-related factors, including secondhand smoke, noise, and stress from servicing customers in a fast-paced setting.
• Stand for an entire shift and move throughout hotel areas.
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible shift hours.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

• Be guest-oriented. Previous experience is helpful.
• Be knowledgeable in the safe operation of heavy equipment.
• Demonstrate good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Communicate effectively in English.
