Student Exchange Program Coach – Local Coordinator

A desire to learn about cultural differences and shared human values is at the core of SHARE!’s mission.

We are seeking Exchange Program Coaches to serve various regions across the United States.

ERDT/SHARE! provides quality homestays and high school enrollments for international students in the U.S., either for a full academic year (10 months) or a semester (5 months).

As an Exchange Program Coach (EPC), your key role is to find enthusiastic families willing to host a visiting student from abroad.

As a Department of State designated program, SHARE! strives for compatibility between host families and students, with your role being crucial to this process.

This position is as an independent contractor, allowing you to determine your methods for managing the program in your community. The EPC is mainly responsible for coordinating homestays and high school enrollments, facilitating the student’s adjustment to life in the U.S., and promoting a positive U.S. image.

Requirements and helpful tips:

• No experience needed!
• Complete an annual online training certification by the U.S. Department of State.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Strong community ties are helpful for identifying host families.
• Experience with schools, teenagers, coaching, tutoring, teaching, counseling, or parenting is a plus but not required.
• Training will be provided.
