Job description

The EVS Attendant reports to the EVS Supervisor and is responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of the facilities, including hotel and casino gaming areas, bathrooms, and offices.

Position Responsibilities

• Clean and service all public and administrative areas, including restaurants and other assigned areas, performing tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, bathroom cleaning, glass and mirror cleaning, emptying trash, and other related duties.
• Replenish supplies as needed, such as in guest bathrooms, including bathroom tissue, tissues, soap, and other supply closets throughout the property.
• Promptly report any maintenance or guest needs to the EVS Supervisor.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Exposure to casino-related environmental factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high-pressure & fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, flexible shifts, and unusual hours.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift and move throughout the casino/hotel areas.
• Mix cleaning chemicals and detergents, and use ladders to clean lower windows.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Effective communication skills in English.
