At SHARE!, our mission is rooted in a desire to learn about and celebrate our shared humanity and cultural diversity.

We are seeking Exchange Program Coaches to serve various regions across the United States.

ERDT/SHARE! provides quality homestays and enrollments in American high schools for foreign students coming to the U.S. for a full academic year (10 months) or one semester (5 months).

As an Exchange Program Coach (EPC), your key role is to find enthusiastic and nurturing families willing to host visiting students from abroad.

As a Department of State-designated program, SHARE! prides itself on matching host families and students effectively. Your role is crucial in ensuring a positive experience for both.

This position is as an independent contractor, allowing you to set your own methods for facilitating the exchange program locally. The EPC is responsible for coordinating quality homestays and student enrollment, supporting the student’s adjustment to life in the U.S., and promoting a positive image of the United States.

Requirements and helpful tips:

  • No experience needed!
  • Complete an annual online training certification course administered by the U.S. Department of State.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to facilitate student transition.
  • A strong community connection helps in identifying host families.
  • Experience working with schools or teenagers is a plus but not required.
  • Skills in coaching, tutoring, teaching, counseling, parenting, or grandparenting are beneficial.
  • Training will be provided.

This role is ideal for stay-at-home parents, retirees, semi-retired individuals, or those seeking a flexible, remote, and independent opportunity.
