Job summary

Virginia Credit Union is seeking a detail‑oriented Operations Associate to handle daily ATM settlements, reconcile items, and support member service excellence in a fast-paced financial environment.

You will balance inclearing totals, post journal vouchers, prepare Excel spreadsheets for replenishments, investigate outages, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with a financial institution preferred.
• Prior ATM settlement experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Reg. CC and Reg. E preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions accurately and seek approval for items beyond authority.
• Provide quality service to members by following service expectations.
• Balance inclearing exception totals daily.
• Post adjustments for encoding errors and notify involved members.
• Use and maintain Excel logs, PSCU/STAR accounts, and Word documents.
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets for ATM PLUS replenishments daily.
• Post journal vouchers for ATM cash orders and debit adjustments.
• Investigate and resolve ATM outages and related settlements.
• Interact with vendors and internal teams to settle issues and improve procedures.
• Promote VACU products and services.
