Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service ATMs at customer locations in the Baltimore, MD area. You will be the on-site brand ambassador, diagnose issues from logs, perform basic maintenance, and report work details using our service app.

Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and advancement. The role requires travel, a valid US work authorization, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must reside in the specified geographic area.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Access to reliable transportation for work purposes.
• Familiarity and ability to use and operate an Android cell phone (company provided).
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job which include: Prolonged travel during several hours of the workday, which includes inclement weather.
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Represent the NCR Atleos brand by being the first line of response on-site at our customers’ locations.
• Diagnose problems based on the error logs from the ATM and information provided from our service app using a company provided cell phone.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, both indoors and outdoors.
• Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of updates and details of the work performed at the ATM, including call closure details.
• Maintain parts inventory and related records.
• Accurately reporting hours worked and miles driven daily.
