Job summary

Visit.org is seeking an experienced Freelance Event Specialist based in Atlanta, GA to manage in-person event logistics. You will be the on-site hands-on leader, coordinating prep, staffing, check-ins, and post-event wrap-up to ensure a high-quality guest experience.

This contract role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed and travel within the local region. You will join a mission-driven team building impactful volunteering experiences for global partners.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Experience coordinating events, ideally in corporate settings.
• Willingness to travel within the local region.
• Ability to manage on-site logistics and attendee experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all event details, shipping materials, and staffing for each event.
• Be the on-site hands-on leader to set up, run, and tear down events.
• Serve as Visit.org representative and problem-solver at events.
• Manage check-ins and ensure high-quality guest experience.
• Breakdown after events and pack/repackage materials for return.
