Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or business development experience within international freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of Air & Ocean Freight
• Proven experience winning new customers
• Understanding of international import/export processes and supply chains
• Strong commercial knowledge across pricing, quoting and negotiations
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• A proactive and driven approach to prospecting and business development
• Experience working with customers across the Atlanta/Southeast market is desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across the Atlanta and Southeast market
• Build relationships with importers, exporters and international shippers
• Identify and pursue opportunities across Air & Ocean Freight
• Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through to closing
• Understand customer requirements and recommend tailored freight solutions
• Prepare proposals, negotiate rates and secure new accounts
• Develop and grow newly won business through strong customer relationships
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate CRM activity
• Keep up to date with market trends, customer needs and competitor activity
• Achieve agreed new business and revenue targets
