Job summary

World Group is seeking a Fleet Coordinator for our Atlanta terminal to manage the local customer experience. You will build relationships with warehouses and vendors and act as the liaison between terminal operations and the customer-facing team to position our fleet for success.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year trucking industry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle high volumes of email and phone traffic. Proficiency in MS Office and TMS is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College degree preferred.
• 1+ year trucking industry experience preferred.
• Highly organized individual with great communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high email/phone/messaging volume.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office; familiarity with Transportation Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicating quote rates and service capabilities.
• Processing orders as they arrive.
• Providing shipment status updates and alternatives where needed.
• Gathering feedback and suggesting improvements for the customer experience.
• Entering time-sensitive order information into computer systems.
• Responding promptly to questions and requests to exceed expectations.
• Keeping customer location data up to date in systems.
• Performing other duties as requested.
