Job summary

Brown University Athletics is seeking an Athletics Ticket Representative. This part-time, 10-hour-per-week, 11-month seasonal position handles ticket sales and will-call at home events in Providence, RI, using AudienceView and maintaining PCI compliance.

Successful candidates bring customer service experience, basic Excel/Word skills, and the ability to work under pressure while upholding NCAA and Ivy League policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality.
• Prior experience with event tickets or cash handling.
• Ability to handle conflict and pressure and direct questions and complaints to the appropriate person.
• Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, internet and email capabilities.
• Willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
• Knowledge of Ivy League and NCAA ticketing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets and will-call at home athletic events.
• Process sales in AudienceView ticketing system.
• Ensure PCI compliance with cash control process.
• Manage complimentary tickets at will-call.
• Scan tickets and all-season passes.
• Assist guests with online ticket purchases at varied athletic events.
• Assist guests to their seats and review their tickets for access to reserved seats/hospitality sections.
• Adhere to NCAA and Ivy League rules and report violations when applicable.
