Job summary

Kent State University is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director, Revenue Generation on the Kent Campus to drive revenue growth through proactive ticket sales initiatives. You will oversee ticket office operations, manage staff, and coordinate with marketing and alumni engagement to optimize campaigns and donor opportunities.

The role requires strategic sales leadership, experience with ticketing systems, and the ability to work evenings and weekends while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of ticket sales or related experience.
• Experience with collegiate athletic ticket sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of sales strategies and athletics revenue growth opportunities.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, and travel off campus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the athletic department single, group and season ticket packages for ticketed athletic events.
• Develop strategies to market and sell single-game, group, and season ticket packages.
• Manage and oversee ticket office operations including building, processing, and reporting of ticket sales.
• Supervise unclassified staff, student employees, and volunteer ticket office staff.
• Collaborate with marketing, DPAE, and multimedia partner to maximize revenue opportunities.
