University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking a student hourly Athletics Laundry Room Attendant to manage laundry duties for varsity teams and the Champions Hall Fitness Center. Responsibilities include washing/drying gear, uniforms, towels, and pretreating stains to ensure clean results.

You will fold and hang uniforms, inspect items for quality, and maintain the laundry area and inventory. This role supports a safe, inclusive campus environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle laundry operations for varsity athletics and Champions Hall Fitness Center including: Wash and dry practice gear, uniforms, warmups, towels, etc.
• Pretreat stained items before washing to ensure thorough cleaning.
• Fold/hang game uniforms, warmups and towels.
• Inspect laundered items for quality control (e.g. stains, tears, etc.).
• Clean dryer lint traps, swap detergent barrels, replace vacuum bags, sweep/vacuum laundry room floors.
• Assist with equipment inventorying including: towels and laundry loops.
• Assist with general organization of the laundry room and supplies.
