Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of frontline development experience in collegiate athletics or higher education advancement.
• Proven skills in meeting goals for contributions, corporate sponsorships and major gifts; outstanding oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate and solicit donor prospects to reach annual fundraising goals for NCCU Athletics.
• Actively participate with the Office of Institutional Advancement in moves management, prospect screening and goal setting.
• Supervise Development & Corporate operations and undergraduate/graduate interns in the Development Office.
• Plan and implement major and annual gift fundraising for 15 varsity sports.
• Collaborate on NIL RevShare initiatives and donor relations with internal and external partners.
• Educate donors and align fundraising strategies with NIL programs and RevShare.
