Job summary

North Carolina Central University (NCCU) seeks a Director of Development for the School of Business to lead major gifts fundraising and donor engagement. You will cultivate relationships with individuals, foundations, and corporate partners, and guide strategies with campus leadership to secure transformational gifts.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and implement donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Experience with major gift fundraising and high-level donor engagement.
• Proficiency with Raiser's Edge or equivalent donor management system.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 75–125 prospective and current donors for major gifts.
• Develop and execute donor engagement plans with the School of Business leadership.
• Partner with the Dean and university advancement to align strategies and secure gifts.
