Job summary

Alcorn State University is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance/Student Athlete Services to lead a service-based compliance program for a Division I athletics program at the university. The role coordinates academic services for student-athletes and supervises sport-specific compliance tasks.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of NCAA Division I athletics compliance experience, with a preferred master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of full-time experience working in NCAA Division I athletics compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor systems to ensure compliance with NCAA, SWAC and university rules.
• Coordinate academic services for student-athletes and supervise assigned sports.
• Review and approve coach reimbursements and financial documents from the business office.
• Provide rules education for coaches, staff, student-athletes, parents and the public.
• Maintain comprehensive compliance files and manuals; monitor eligibility and progress toward degree.
