Job summary

Mississippi Valley State University seeks a Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance to lead NCAA and SWAC compliance programs. This role directs, coordinates and evaluates all compliance activities to maintain institutional control of the athletics program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 3 years of NCAA Compliance related duties.
• Athletic background (high school or collegiate).
• Ability to establish rapport with student-athletes, coaching staff and university personnel.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, implements and evaluates all NCAA, SWAC and MSU compliance activities.
• Oversees day‑to‑day operations of the Compliance Office including data reporting and budgeting.
• Assists with staff training on software systems and compliance workshops; counsels student‑athletes on conduct, academics and participation.
• Supports travel, scheduling and required proficiency with Word/Excel and compliance tools.
