Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Athletics Department seeks an Associate Athletic Director - Compliance and Governance to lead NCAA, CSC, ACC and UNC compliance initiatives. This role monitors rules for current and former student-athletes, staff, and representatives of athletics interests, ensuring risk mitigation and program integrity.

The position reports to the Sr. Associate Athletic Director and involves NIL oversight, policy development, external coordination with legal counsel

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's and 0-2 years' experience; or will accept related education/experience substitution.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of NCAA Eligibility Center, CAi, RSRO and LSDBi.

Responsibilities

• Monitor NCAA, CSC, ACC and UNC rules for current and former student-athletes, staff and representatives of athletics interests.
• Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact for NCAA Bylaw 12 matters; provide guidance and interpretation to ensure compliance.
• Oversee NIL activities, educate student-athletes and stakeholders on evolving NIL policies, and coordinate with campus partners and external entities.
