Job summary

The University of Virginia is seeking a Director for Compliance to lead and oversee comprehensive NCAA, ACC, and university rule compliance across several sport programs. You will interpret regulations, provide timely guidance, and coordinate compliance education for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include managing nominations and waivers, monitoring policy developments, and ensuring accurate reporting of APR, GSR, and NCAA submissions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse constituencies.
• Ability to monitor and enforce rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for several sports teams; manage all compliance aspects, including waivers, roster management, and education.
• Coordinate external communications for the Compliance Office.
• Liaise with Teamworks Compliance+Recruiting software.
• Monitor NCAA governance proposals and educate stakeholders.
• Investigate violations, prepare reports, waivers, and reinstatements.
• Manage APR, GSR and NCAA required reports.
