The University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks an Associate Manager for the Athletics Annual Giving program to cultivate and solicit philanthropic donors. This on-site role reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Development and focuses on growing fundraising revenue through donor engagement and events.

Key duties include managing a portfolio of donors, liaising with multiple sports, and executing events and premium hospitality. Equal opportunity employer. Regular on-site position.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business or a related field and one (1) year of fundraising or related experience required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.
• Preferred: ability to manage multiple projects, time management, event planning, communication, fundraising techniques, networking, Salesforce/CRM, presentation, budget management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of annual and mid-level giving donors and prospects
• Serve as a fundraising liaison to multiple Olympic sports within the UAB Department of Athletics
• Assist in executing donor/prospect events, benefits execution, and other avenues of engagement including premium hospitality
• Performs other duties as assigned.
