Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham invites applications for an Associate Manager- Athletics Annual Giving. This on-site role reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Development and focuses on cultivating donors and soliciting gifts to advance UAB Athletics.

You will manage a portfolio of annual and mid-level donors, coordinate with Olympic sports, and help execute donor events, benefits, and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business or a related field and one year of fundraising or related experience required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Salesforce/CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of annual and mid-level giving donors and prospects.
• Serve as a fundraising liaison to multiple Olympic sports within the UAB Department of Athletics.
• Assist in executing donor/prospect events, benefits execution, and other avenues of engagement including premium hospitality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
