Alliance Orthopedics is seeking a Physician Extender in Union, NJ to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The role collaborates with medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons and therapists to coordinate patient care and deliver outcomes. You will be the medical liaison, manage care plans, and support the sports medicine program.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer License required.
• Degree from an accredited Athletic Training Education Program.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care.
• Ability to coordinate care and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with patients and understand THEIR GOALS.
• Coordinate medical care and obtain clinical history/evaluations.
• Organize physician schedules, notes, imaging, care plans and more.
• Record patient vitals and progress notes with confidentiality.
• Serve as a compassionate liaison between physician and patient.
