Alliance Orthopedics is currently looking to add to our mix of talented professionals in Fair Lawn, NJ. This Physician Extender position works side-by-side with our medical team and serves as a liaison to our conservative care team.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer License required.
• Degree from an accredited Athletic Training Education Program.
• Basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, reference tools, and pharmacology for scope of practice.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
• Willingness to challenge patients and team members.

Responsabilités

• Build rapport and relationships with our patients; understand THEIR GOALS.
• Primary responsibility pertains to medical care coordination; obtain clinical history and perform preliminary assessments/evaluations.
• Organize physician schedules, notes, imaging studies, care plans, etc.; record vitals and progress notes.
• Serve as compassionate liaison between physician and patient, providing support and encouragement.
• Conduct post-procedure next day follow-up.
• Facilitate distribution of necessary Durable Medical Equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Assist Clinic Supervisor with additional administrative duties.
• Be a valuable team member, collaborating with all healthcare disciplines to help patients get BETTER EVERYDAY.
