Job summary

La Salle University seeks an Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities and Operations to coordinate facility management for athletic venues and oversee event operations. The role collaborates with Physical Facilities, Public Safety, and Campus Recreation to ensure safe, efficient venues and compliant operations.

The candidate will hire, train, and supervise student workers, act as event manager for assigned events, ensure daily opening/closing procedures, maintenance, and adherence to NCAA

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA and conference rules and regulations.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification must be maintained.
• Valid driver’s license and successful clearance of motor vehicle record check.
• Background checks including PA Criminal, FBI Fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility management for athletic facilities, including scheduling and opening/closing.
• Oversee event management and special events in athletic facilities.
• Liaise with Physical Facilities, Public Safety, and Campus Recreation/Intramural Office.
• Recruit, train, and supervise student staff and oversee an Operations Intern.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA bylaws and conference regulations.
