Job summary

University of Redlands is seeking a Director of Athletic Facilities to lead the overall management and maintenance of the University of Redlands Athletics Facilities. This exempt, full-time role sits on the Athletic Operations Team and may require evening and weekend hours and some travel.

The position reports to the VPIA and oversees budgeting, scheduling systems, and collaboration with coaches, staff, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of facility management for University of Redlands Athletics, including maintenance, scheduling and improvements.
• Oversee master facility calendars and scheduling systems (including MUSCO lighting).
• Balance varsity, club sports, intramurals, campus events and external rentals scheduling.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive project management plan for all athletic facilities.
• Collaborate with coaches, staff and external partners to identify facility needs and prioritize projects.
• Manage the budget for facility maintenance and projects within budget and properly documented.
• Coordinate maintenance, work orders and preventive care with campus facilities office.
• Maintain and train coaches/staff on Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) with Sports Medicine staff.
• Serve as main contact for Event Services and external rentals utilizing athletic facilities.
