Job summary

University of Redlands in Redlands, CA is seeking a Director of Athletic Facilities to lead the management and maintenance of all athletic facilities. This role sits on the Athletic Operations Team and requires evening/weekend flexibility and potential travel.

The position oversees calendars, project planning, and coordination with coaches and external partners to meet facility needs, while controlling budgets and ensuring safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience with collegiate athletic facilities.
• A valid California Class C driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of facility management for athletics facilities, including maintenance, scheduling and improvements.
• Manage master calendars and scheduling systems for varsity, club sports, intramurals and events.
• Develop and implement a project plan for renovations and new facilities.
• Coordinate with coaches, staff and external partners to identify facility needs and priorities.
• Balance budgets for maintenance and projects, ensuring proper documentation.
• Ensure safety and accessibility standards are met and maintained.
