Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Specialist – On Field Operations to support a seamless athlete experience in our store. You will engage athletes, explain products, and ensure the floor is energized with high-quality service and accurate merchandise presentation.

You will collaborate with teammates to onboard new staff, follow established processes, and drive loyalty program participation while maintaining safety and operational standards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Candidates with prior retail experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by engaging customers and providing accurate product information.
• Onboards and trains new team members in store-specific procedures and best practices.
• Maintains merchandising standards and ensures product availability as part of on-floor operations.
• Upholds pricing, signage, inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
• Promotes store programs and loyalty initiatives to enhance customer participation.
• Fosters an inclusive, respectful store environment aligned with company policies.
