Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist - Off Field Operations to support critical store processes and keep the store athlete-ready. You will help deliver an outstanding athlete experience by engaging customers, ensuring inventory accuracy, and executing operations with precision.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety and procedures, and participation in training and onboarding of teammates.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equival ent
1-3 years of experience
Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide accurate, knowledgeable product information.
Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert of their area of the store.
Demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset; ensures products are ready for athletes to purchase and engaged when and how they want.
Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage requirements, and inventory presentation.
Promotes and drives customer participation in company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, credit card enrollment).
Creates a store environment where everyone is welcomed and treated with respect; adheres to safety, loss prevention and SOPs.
