Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in the United States is seeking a Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty to lead the athlete experience by coaching teammates and driving engagement in loyalty programs and services, delivering fast, friendly checkout, and building strong athlete relationships.

You will develop plans with store leadership, manage schedules, recruit and develop teammates, ensure compliance with policies, and uphold safety while delivering exceptional service and consistent results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead athlete experiences by coaching teammates and driving engagement in loyalty programs and services at the checkout.
• Contribute to development of short- and long-term plans for assigned departments, including staffing and budgets.
• Schedule and manage workloads to maximize efficiency while meeting payroll and financial goals.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, oversee onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and compliance with policies.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures across the store
