Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty to lead teammate coaching and drive engagement in loyalty programs while delivering fast, friendly checkout experiences and building athlete relationships.

You will coach teammates, manage scheduling and workloads, mentor staff, and help deliver exceptional service that aligns with our focus on connection, service, and winning together on the floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating needs and providing product information while upholding merchandising standards.
• Assist in developing 30-60-90 day plans to support department priorities and budgets.
• Communicate goals and assign workloads to staff to maximize efficiency while meeting payroll and financial goals.
• Build and lead a strong team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and SOPs, and ensure policy compliance.
