Job summary

Upward Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Applications Solutions Specialist to design, optimize, and support clinical workflows within our AthenaOne environment.

You will collaborate with clinicians and IT partners to implement process improvements that enhance care delivery and operational efficiency. In this role you will build solutions, gather requirements, and train staff on new features, while staying current with product releases and regulatory changes to ensure compliant, high-quality

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience with Electronic Health Records, preferably AthenaOne.
• Experience supporting clinical workflows and process improvements.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, MIPS, HEDIS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement within AthenaOne.
• Build and configure solutions to support optimized end-to-end workflows.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• Support evaluation and implementation of Athena Marketplace tools or third-party vendors.
• Create job aids, SOPs, and training materials.
• Conduct training sessions for clinical and operational stakeholders.
• Stay current on product releases and ensure readiness for new features.
• Ensure proper documentation and change-management.
