Texas Orthopaedic Associates in Dallas seeks an EMR Specialist to serve as the subject matter expert for athenahealth (athenaOne) and related integrations. You will tailor workflows, assist providers and staff, and drive testing and training for new releases.

This role reports to the Chief Operations Officer and supports vendor management and system optimization. The position emphasizes improving adoption, reducing documentation burden, and ensuring secure, compliant EMR use across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with athenahealth (athenaOne) in a medical practice setting.
• Ability to build and customize provider workflows in an EMR.
• Experience training staff and support teams on EMR best practices.

Responsabilités

• Serve as SME for athenahealth (athenaOne) and primary resource for users.
• Customize provider workflows, templates, and rules to improve adoption and reduce burden.
• Test and validate new releases and integrations before go-live.
• Train staff and providers on EMR features and best practices.
• Support patient-facing tools and maintain system documentation.
