Job summary

athenahealth is seeking a Manager, Product Management in Boston, MA to lead planning, prioritization, and execution for complex clinical workflows. You’ll translate business needs into a clear product direction while partnering with engineering, design, clinical experts, implementation, operations, support, and sales.

You’ll define the product vision and roadmap, manage backlog, analyze performance data, and drive releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of overall professional experience.
• 3+ years of formal product management experience.
• Experience leading product strategy, roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution.
• Experience with Agile software delivery and backlog refinement.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, operations, and sales.
• Ability to understand complex system workflows, data movement, and application behavior.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, priorities, and roadmap for complex clinical workflows.
• Translate customer and market needs into prioritized product plans and requirements.
• Partner with engineering, design, clinical experts, implementation, operations, support, and leadership to align goals.
• Lead discovery and prioritization using customer feedback and product data.
