Job summary

American Seafoods Group is seeking a maintenance professional to perform daily care of Baader machines on vessels, including greasing, bearing replacement, and precise spot checks. You will support technicians, manage parts, and coordinate with crews for ongoing equipment reliability.

The role requires at-sea work with long shifts, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while following directions. Prior at-sea experience and knowledge of CNC controls are valued.

Qualifications

• Able to follow directions and work independently without constant supervision.
• General mechanical knowledge and minimum two years working at-sea.
• General understanding of computerized numerical controls.
• Well organized and punctual.

Responsibilities

• General, daily maintenance of Baader machines including greasing of equipment, ball-bearing replacement and spot checking machinery
• Cleans and repairs factory equipment, as requested by Baader Technician or Factory Manager
• Assists in maintaining adequate and accurate inventory of necessary parts and supplies
• Regularly communicates with Baader Technicians regarding maintenance and/or replacement of parts or machinery
