Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation seeks an experienced Maintenance Operations Supervisor with Baader equipment expertise for on-site roles in Alaska. You will manage parts procurement, downtime coordination, and preventive maintenance across plants, driving KPI improvements and safe operations.

You will lead scheduling, supervise crews, and collaborate with engineers while maintaining regulatory SOPs. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in maintenance in seafood manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in Maintenance Operations in a protein manufacturing environment.
• 5 years' experience in a Baader Mechanic-related role with exposure to installations and maintenance of Baader fish processing equipment, fabrication, and industrial electrical power systems.
• 2 years' experience in a supervisory/managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Review required work with maintenance planners to determine availability of parts to schedule tasks at each location.
• Oversee and/or review stock deficiencies before planned tasks are scheduled and ensure sufficient critical spares.
• Initiate preventive maintenance schedules for manufacturing operations and food safety compliance.
• Create rotation schedules, assist in parts ordering, and schedule maintenance for equipment and crews during operations and downtime.
• Coordinate repairs and projects with Chief & Assistant Engineers and plant management.
• Provide data and reports to production management and facility engineering to address KPIs.
• Assist installation of equipment for prototypes and re-engineered applications.
• Be on site in Alaska for 6-7 months per year; travel up to 6 weeks as needed.
