Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on desktop and deskside IT support.
• Install and configure desktops, laptops, PCs, and peripherals.
• Assist with PC refresh, imaging, and hardware deployments.
• Support Microsoft Windows and Office 365 applications.
• Troubleshoot basic networking, IP config, DHCP, DNS, and connectivity.
• Assist with Active Directory and Group Policy-related tasks.
• Receive, stage, organize, and prepare IT equipment for deployment.
• Maintain accurate asset records and assist with travel to client sites within 50 miles.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Associate Workstation Technician. This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Vallejo, CA (Onsite).

Pay Range: $25/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on desktop, workstation, and deskside IT support to end users.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, PCs, and peripherals.
• Assist with PC refresh projects, equipment replacements, hardware deployments, and workstation imaging.
• Support Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Troubleshoot basic networking issues involving IP configuration, DHCP, DNS, and network connectivity.
• Assist with Active Directory, user access, and Group Policy-related activities.
• Receive, stage, organize, move, and prepare IT equipment for deployment or disposition.
• Update asset management systems and maintain accurate equipment records.
• Travel to nearby client facilities within a 50-mile radius as needed.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Previous experience in Desktop Support, Deskside Support, IT Support, Field Support, or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, Windows operating systems, and computer peripherals.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IPConfig, and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with hardware installation, workstation refreshes, imaging, or equipment deployment is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable providing onsite and client-facing technical support.
