Omitron, Inc. is seeking an Associate Systems & IT Support Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Colorado Springs, CO.

This on-site role supports both enterprise IT operations and cloud infrastructure, working closely with the Cloud Engineering Lead and serving as the primary escalation point for complex Tier 3 help desk issues. You will assist with cloud and systems administration, troubleshoot advanced technical issues, maintain enterprise infrastructure, and support day-to-day

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years IT support or junior systems administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365.
• Familiar with ticketing systems and SLA-driven support.
• Basic networking including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Certifications or home labs showing continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day administration of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Support patch management, system health monitoring, and maintenance across servers/workstations.
• Maintain cloud-based DNS services (e.g., Route 53).
• Assist with connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Create and maintain SOPs and system configuration records.
• Support AD, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, M365, DNS, DHCP, and GPO administration.
• Develop basic PowerShell automation for routine tasks.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, VPN, wireless, hardware, and software issues.
• Resolve complex Tier 3 support requests escalated from Tier 1/2.
• Serve as a technical escalation resource for IT staff.
• Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly with end users and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT operations.
