Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join our Industrial Center of Excellence. The role focuses on high-performing food & beverage, federal, and industrial facility design with BIM-enabled collaboration using Revit Structural.

You will help develop construction documents, design structural systems for cores, shells, and foundations, and coordinate with architects and other disciplines to integrate structural design into facility plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 1+ years of structural design experience for facilities or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of structural analysis software: STAAD, RAM, Risa, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Familiar with building codes and strong technical writing and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for building cores, shells, foundations.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and calculations per IBC, ACI, AISC.
• Coordinate with architects and MEP/Civil teams to integrate design.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction phase.
