WSP USA is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Industrial Center of Excellence. You will support the design and delivery of complex industrial projects, develop construction documents, perform structural analysis, and collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines.

Based in Boise, ID or Madison, WI, this role emphasizes ownership of project goals, utilization of BIM with Revit Structural, and coordination with architects and other disciplines to integrate structural design into

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in structural design for facilities or industrial projects.
• Proficient in STAAD, RAM and Risa, AutoCAD, Revit, and 2D drafting.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards; strong technical writing and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for building cores, shells, and foundations including steel, concrete, and masonry.
• Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and calculations per applicable codes (IBC, ACI, AISC).
• Coordinate with architects and other disciplines to integrate structural design into facility plans.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction-phase support.
• Perform load calculations and seismic/wind analyses; evaluate retrofits and expansions.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance; attend client and design coordination meetings.
