Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team building scalable applications across digital channels. You will contribute to architectural decisions, design and implement software, and participate in all phases from idea to execution.

The role emphasizes writing clean code, adhering to standards, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment with a focus on performance and usability. Must be a US citizen for contractual access requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1 year proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and patterns.
• Experience with at least one modern language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and two of: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, cloud platforms.
• 3+ years with Java, Python, C/C++, JavaScript, or Go; Oracle Cloud / ATP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specs and write code adhering to standards.
• Propose technical solutions and ensure scalability and performance.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and assist sprint planning.
• Create tasks in RTC/Jira and update status.
• Monitor progress and report issues to senior developers.
