Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team delivering scalable applications across digital channels. You will design engineering specs, write quality code, and participate in scrum ceremonies to meet sprint goals.

Responsibilities include exploring technical solutions, ensuring scalability and performance, and collaborating with peers on architectural decisions. Strong knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript and cloud services is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in scalable systems.
• 1 year experience with at least two of React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, GCP or AWS.
• 1 year understanding of REST/HTTPS/JSON web services.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software and write code that adheres to standards.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning to deliver features.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
