Job summary

enGen seeks a Software Engineer to join an agile team building scalable software applications across digital channels. You will contribute to architectural decisions and implement solutions using Java, Python, JavaScript, and modern cloud services.

The role involves participating in all Scrum ceremonies, drafting technical designs, and delivering robust code with a focus on performance and maintainability. Prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field is required.
• 1 year proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• 1 year experience in at least one modern programming language and familiarity with two of React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, GCP or AWS.
• Knowledge of REST/JSON web services.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications; write code adhering to standards; perform code reviews.
• Generate ideas and evaluate technical solutions to achieve product features while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies; assist in sprint planning and track progress with tools like RTC or Jira.
• Create tasks for stories, update status, and coordinate with senior developers.
