Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team responsible for building scalable applications across digital channels and serving our customers. The incumbent will take an enterprise-wide architectural view of solutions and lead technical execution using the stack that best fits the platform.

The role involves design, coding, code reviews, and active participation in scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and task management to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1 year experience in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with Java, Python or JavaScript and two of React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS.
• Understanding of REST, HTTPS and JSON web services.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
• Write code that adheres to coding standards and perform code reviews.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning and execution.
• Create tasks, track progress in RTC/Jira, and communicate blockers.
