Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team building scalable applications across digital channels. You will drive architectural decisions, design and implement software using modern stacks, and participate in all phases from idea to deployment.

The role emphasizes strong coding standards, problem solving, and collaboration with Scrum ceremonies. A Bachelor's degree in CS or CE is required, with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• 1 year proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• 1 year in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica preferred) and experience with at least two of React, Angular v4+, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, GCP or AWS.
• 1 year understanding of REST/HTTPS/JSON.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications.
• Write code adhering to coding standards and perform code reviews.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
• Create tasks for stories and update status in RTC/Jira.
• Monitor progress against production schedule and report issues to seniors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
