Job summary

UPMC Health Plan is seeking an Associate Agile Release Train Engineer to lead an ART and help drive our Business Agility journey in Pittsburgh. The role involves coaching ART leaders, facilitating PI Planning, and partnering with Product Management, Architects, and other stakeholders to deliver PI objectives.

This full-time hybrid position requires 6+ years in a professional setting, 1 SAFe certification, and strong servant leadership with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience leading Agile release trains and SAFe practices.
• Strong facilitation and servant-leader capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Coach ART leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices.
• Lead PI Planning and PI Execution ceremonies.
• Ensure visions, roadmaps, and feature backlogs are ready for PI objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver PI commitments.
• Support flow of value via Kanban for features and readiness.
• Escalate and manage impediments across teams and ARTs.
• Communicate progress and impediments across ARTs and stakeholders.
• Foster DevOps culture and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Drive continual improvement via Inspect & Adapt workshops.
