Responsibilities

• Evaluate escalated business incidents to ensure information is complete and clearly defines the issue.
• Determine the appropriate assignment group based on incident protocols.
• Decide the next steps needed to bring an issue to resolution.
• Research applicable source systems to understand the issue.
• Identify which business areas need engagement to resolve the issue.
• Provide clear work notes showing progress and status of incidents.
• Ensure root cause is identified and corrections/data cleanup are completed.
• Analyze and refine data extracts to create reports.

Associate Research Support Specialist

• Evaluate escalated business incidents to ensure that information provided is complete and displays a clear definition of the issue.
• Determine the appropriate assignment group for incident based on incident protocols.
• Decide the next steps needed to bring an issue to resolution.
• Research the applicable source systems to figure out the nature of the issue.
• Identify which business areas need to be engaged to bring the issue to resolution.
• Provide clear and complete work notes so users clearly understand the progress and status of every incident.
• Ensure a root cause is identified for each issue; the correction is made, and any required cleanup of data is completed.
• Analyze and refine data extracts to create reports.

Experience

Preferred 1-2 years working in healthcare/office setting, or relevant internship or co-op work experience

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to follow detailed policies and procedures.

Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Skills in MS Office applications and data management including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, and Access required.

Education

Bachelors Degree preferred.
