Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC seeks an Associate Project Manager to support automation and control system projects from execution through commissioning. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, software, and field teams while assisting with communication with customers and trade partners.

Ideal candidates are early-career professionals aiming to develop strong project leadership in complex industrial environments; a CAPM or PMP path is encouraged as part of professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 0–3+ years of experience supporting project delivery in industrial/automation environments.
• Familiar with structured project execution methods and lifecycle management.
• CAPM certification preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from execution through commissioning and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, software, and field teams.
• Track risks, issues, and change orders with proper documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities.
• Prepare project documentation and gate deliverables.
• Maintain accurate project records using PM tools and templates.
• Assist with estimation, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams, customers, and partners.
• Align scope, schedule, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
