Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support automation and control system projects from execution through commissioning and closeout. You will work under a Project Manager, coordinating with engineering, procurement, fabrication, software, and field teams.

This early-career role emphasizes developing leadership capabilities in complex industrial environments while ensuring schedules, quality, and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Typically 0 to 3 years of experience supporting project delivery in industrial automation or systems integration environments.
• Exposure to structured project execution methods and project lifecycle management practices.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned projects from execution start through commissioning and closeout.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project execution plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, software and field service teams.
• Track risks, issues and change orders with proper documentation and resolution.
• Support installation, commissioning and customer acceptance activities including readiness checklists and punch lists.
• Assist with preparation of project documentation, reports and gate deliverables.
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting using project management tools and templates.
• Support estimation, forecasting and project performance tracking.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Project Management or related field
