Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support cross-functional planning and coordination to achieve project success. The role applies project management fundamentals to assess goals, requirements, and constraints, and to execute plans while monitoring performance and mitigating risk.

You will partner with Project Managers, Team Supervisors, and program directors to manage client relationships and ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or equivalent.
• Technical experience in a science or engineering related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals with cost and resource estimates.
• Identify key deliverables and milestones.
• Establish baselines for scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
• Develop and execute project management plans.
• Support project charter, work plans, and kickoff meetings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; communicate plans and risks.
