Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting in Minnesota is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support planning and coordination of cross-functional teams to achieve project success.

This role applies project management fundamentals to establish the project’s goals, requirements, and constraints. You will execute project plans, monitor performance, and mitigate risk daily. You’ll partner with Project Managers, Team Supervisor, and the program director to manage relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator (or equivalent) required.
• CAPM certification preferred.
• Technical experience in a science or engineering related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager and stakeholders to develop proposals with cost and resource estimates.
• Identify key deliverables and milestones.
• Establish baselines for scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
• Develop and execute project management plans.
• Support charter, work plans and kickoff meetings.
• Communicate project plans to teams and gain stakeholder buy‑in.
• Provide guidance to project stakeholders and monitor progress.
