Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Oil and Gas Associate Project Manager to join our team. The role supports planning and coordination of cross‑functional teams to achieve project success, applying technical expertise and PM fundamentals to assess goals, requirements, and constraints.

You will execute plans, monitor performance, and mitigate risk daily while partnering with PMs to manage client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator (or equivalent experience) required.
• CAPM® certification preferred.
• Technical experience in a science or engineering related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals complete with cost and resource estimates.
• Identify key deliverables and milestones.
• Establish baselines for project Scope, Schedule, Resources, and Budget
• Develop and execute project management plans
• Support Project Manager to develop project charter, project work plans and kick-off meetings.
• Collaborate and assist Project Manager on assigned tasks.
• Communicate project plans to teams and gain stakeholder buy‑in for successful execution of projects.
